I reclaim my dignity when I define myself undocumented and unafraid. I feel that I call on my self worth. I shut down the hate. I bravely stand up to defend my existence on earth — I’m a citizen of the world! I give myself what I deserve for being alive & give credit to my actions and meaningful acts of courage.
Other undocumented youth should come out to empower themselves and their communities. To take back their dignity, to give voice to themselves and to their families. To motivate others. To let others know that life is worth it even with the obstacles we face emotionally, financially & mentally.
